As you comb and clean the shore, you also record what kind of objects you collect. This data helps scientist pinpoint the sources of pollutants in our water. This citizen science program is now in its 22nd year.
All ages are welcome!
Program to follow at 1:30pm
Jim Jones of the Volunteers for Wildlife will present a program on "raptors" and is expected to bring with him a red tailed hawk, a kestrel, and an owl. Jim is an enthusiastic speaker, and everyone enjoys his programs as well as the opportunity to see these great birds.
