Museum general admission: $4.00/adults, $2.00/children 5-12 yrs.

Crafts and programs appropriate for all ages. Craft fees listed are in addition to Museum General Admission:
$4.00/adults, $2.00/children 5-12 years. On 2/21, 2/22 & 2/25 programs and crafts included with admission.
Craft proceeds go to the Friends of Garvies Point Museum and Preserve.

VALENTINE PAPER-MAKING

Make a beautiful Valentine for a loved one out of recycled paper!

NORTH AMERICAN NATIVE AMERICAN GAMES

All ages are invited to come learn and play authentic Native American games of skill and chance. Each day will feature games from different regions of the U.S. Programs and crafts included with museum admission.

Tuesday, February 21st Northeast (10-12 pm) & Plains (1-3 pm)

CLAY BEAD ARROWHEAD NECKLACE CRAFT - 10am-3pm, ongoing

NATIVE AMERICAN DESIGN SAND-ART - 10am-3pm, ongoing

Thursday, February 23rd 10am-3pm, every half hour; $5/participant

NATIVE AMERICAN POTTERY MAKING

Create your own clay pot inspired by primitive Native American technology.
Film: Indian Pottery of San Ildefonso (27 mins.)



Friday, February 24th 10am-3pm, ongoing, $5/participant

BIRD FEEDER CRAFT


Make your own bird feeder using recycled materials so you can enjoy observing our feathered friends all year long!

WINTER NATURE WALK


Experience the woods in a different season! The woods is teeming with life even when it seems too cold for anything to survive. Observe birds, trees, and any animal tracks we might discover & learn how they can survive such harsh conditions.

PINE CONE ANIMAL CRAFT - 10am-3pm ongoing


Create adorable animal critters from pine cones, acorns, & other items from nature.
Film: All About Animal Adaptations (23 mins.)
