GEOLOGY DAY 2022

Saturday, February 26th, 2022

10am - 4pm, Ongoing activities

Learn to identify rocks like a geologist does!

Special activities include:

Hands-on workstations - visit in any order you wish
Perform scientific tests to ID minerals
Rock 'n' Roll Painting Craft
Garvies Geology beach walks
Talk with Geology experts
Learn local Garvies geology including clay deposits, concretions, Cretaceous plant fossils and more
Bring and show off your own rock collection
Bring in minerals, rocks, fossils for identification

Museum Admission:
$5/adults, $3/children 5-12 years
Museum Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday 10am-4pm, Preserve open 7 days
