Hands-on exploring, discovery & activities on a variety of topics; arts & crafts; nature games & scavenger hunts; hiking; unstructured outdoor experiences; educational films; experiments & team-building & more! Workshops are held indoors and outdoors.

Aquatic Adventures I
July 7th - 9th

Discover what it takes to survive in the ever-changing world of water! Get your hands and feet wet as we explore the intertidal zone and two pond habitats. Learn about pond & shoreline life, aquatic animal adaptations, and the science of water! Water experiments, beach seining, water games & much more!

Awesome Animals
July 14th - 16th

Explore the wild world of animals! Discover special skills and adaptations of both modern and prehistoric animals. Play games to test your senses, try out different animal mouths & learn all about animal defenses. Explore different habitats as you search for evidence of wildlife & build animal homes. Show off your own superpowers on our animal obstacle course! Special guest animal encounters with Tackapausha Museum!

Eco-Explorers: Take Action!
July 21st - 23rd



Learn how to protect our Earth! Find out what plants and animals need to thrive and how to respect and help wildlife. Be a junior engineer as we control erosion and conduct energy experiments. Play recycling relay game and turn recycled materials into works of art. Cultivate a love of nature to protect nature!

Mud, Sticks, & Masterpieces
July 28th-30th

Explore the fascinating science of art! Where does color come from? What gives a shell its shape? Investigate woods, gardens, and seashore to discover how artists are inspired by the natural world, and how plants and animals use colors, textures, and patterns to survive. Weaving, painting, sculpting, and more, there is so much creativity waiting to be unleashed! Culminating in a special art show for all to enjoy!

Time Travelers: Unearthing the Past
Aug 4th - 6th

Be an Ologist! This week all campers will be Geologists, Archaeologists, and Paleontologists! Learn all about rocks & minerals with scientific tests & solve a mineral mystery! Uncover fossils from 400 million years ago and participate in a dinosaur dig. Explore geology of the beach, investigate real artifcats and more! Proper gear is essential this week, each Ologist gets their own tool kit & hat.

Native American Culture & our Natural World
Aug 11th - 13th

Campers will discover and experience hands-on ancient tool technology and learn how to use an atlatl for spear-throwing. Learn fire-making without matches, how to safely build a campfire & outdoor survival. Beach visit to see natural clay deposits, clay processing & pottery-making. Enjoy games & storytelling, learn importance & uses of trees, and try out animal tracking. Campfire cooking and foraging with native foods!
