Crafts and programs appropriate for all ages. Craft fees listed are in addition to Museum General Admission:
$5.00/adults, $3.00/children 5-12 years.
Craft proceeds go to the Friends of Garvies Point Museum and Preserve.

Saturday, February 19th

GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT
Be a citizen scientist! Participate by counting numbers and species of birds around the preserve and at our birdfeeders. All skill levels welcome. Reference guide and binoculars available. No charge for participation, regular museum admission applies. Data submitted to Cornell Lab & National Audubon Society.

Discover the properties of minerals and how they make up rocks! Perform scientific tests on mineral samples, discover special properties like fluorescence and double refraction! Rock 'n' roll Painting craft, show off your own rock collection, Garvies Beach Geology walks, Local unique geology, Bring in rock, mineral, fossil for ID!
